One month ago I quit my corporate job. I gave up my one-bedroom in Notting Hill, put my things in cardboard boxes, and actually did what I wanted to do for once in my goddamn life. I moved to Italy to take a four-month long language course. But why Italy? Why now? I did it now because I realised that I had been sleepwalking through my life. I did it now because the alternatives were so much worse. At 26 years old, I was young but I didn’t feel it. I was, for all intents and purposes, successful but I didn’t feel it. I was alive but I didn’t feel it. I didn’t feel it at all.
May I say, I am so happy for you. I can’t wait to read more of your thoughts and your adventures in Italy! Finally sharing your “true” talents with the world!
